CCNA.. what do I need?

I'd like to get my CCNA. If I bought a Catalyst Switch, is that all I need to study on?

You're gonna need a couple of routers, like 2500/2600s or 1600/1700s. RouterSim could be the way to go since a few routers can get expensive.

As far as reading material goes, just get this.

You probably won't pass without using and understanding the Routersim. I've used that routersim program. It usually comes with the big study guide books.

You need to understand Interfaces/Protocols/Ports and a whole lot more than that.

Oh, too bad. I found a 2924 switch for a decent price. I was hoping to get that and that's all I'd need. I'll see if work as any they don't need. -ya right. 😉
