Ok, I just read through Todd Lammle's CCNA Study Guide book and then took the practice test at the end of the book. I scored an even 80% on it.

I'm wondering how close that test is compared to the actual CCNA test? I know for a fact I need to reread this book, and then go through another source or two before I'm ready, but I'd like to get an idea of where I am at.

to my memory they were different - todd's exam was actually a little bit harder. It's been awhile, and studying up on where you went wrong can't hurt - so give it another couple of nights before you take the test. I doubt going through a couple more sources is necessary, but it sure can't hurt.
 
When a coworker of mine took his test he said the same thing. The book more than prepared him for it. But then again this was on the old test...
