So I just got a raise today at work, $3000 and he said my next one will be sooner than this last one, which was 1 year. ANyways he said he wants me to get my CCNA and to take the test that he will pay for and just fail it the first time so that I can get a feel for it. But I would rather just pass it the first time if I could. I know all about test king but I dont wanna try to memorize all those questions plus I swear I have ADD lol. So does anyone know of any good online free material that wont bore me.

It's pretty comprehensive, I don't think the free stuff will necessarily suffice. I'd get a book from Amazon if I were you. I'm halfway through the CCNA course at my local community college and I still have a whole semester to go.

With free, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, not even that. And TestKing is a braindump. Using it is cheating - no different than stealing the final exam from a professor's desk. If discovered, you can be decertified for life. Not worth it, bro.

I'd recommend getting some high-quality material. I wrote the CCNA content for a well-known practice exam provider. You should download demos from the well-known, trusted providers and choose the one you like best. Consider it an investment in your career. :)

If they are willing to let you take the test and fail then they are willing to dish out what it takes for you to get the CCNA, which is good. So see if they will let you enroll in a week long course. They run about 3,000 bucks for it. I'm not talking about boot camp, i'm talking about a real learning environment that will help you actually retain the information that you have. Why not spend the money to gain the knowledge rather than the cert? It is what you make of it.

Err, a week long course isn't going to cover what you'll need. I've taken half the Cisco courses at my local CC, and there is not a chance in hell I'd want to compress one of them into a week long crash course.

Are you interested in what you are doing? This isn't a test that gets your your MCP, you're starting to get into levels of work that actually require some responsibility.

ciscopress for the win with coupons and combo deals....or find a sponsored class and get the books for free.

I will say the latest books are fuxored though. Lots of errors and omissions.

The ICND is really the holy bible to the CCNA.
