CCleaner shows odd firefox startup item

Gorrillasnot

Senior member
when I open CCleaner and click on Tools, Startup, and click on the Firefox tab it shows a plugin with no program associated, version number 0, no publisher name, etc.
When I try to disable it I can close and reopen CCleaner and its back to enabled.

How can I find out what this plugin is and if its not needed get rid of it?

thanks

Try removal in safe mode.
I fear you must find the dropper and kill it when asleep.
Try run/msconfig/startup and kill all and slowly add back till you find dropper.

I have it as well. Its probably nothing, maybe just a bug with ccleaner. You could try their support email if you want to find out for sure.
