Cold cathodes are awesome. You can get two and an inverter for about $10, and are much brighter.

Oh, and SVC is a great store for stuff like that.

not anymore. they've stripped their entire ccfl lineup save for the sunbeams and the wacky ccfl "variations"

led strips are lame from what i've seen, ccfl all the wayh.
