CCFL dimensions

I'm considering a CCFL to mount under my ATC-201-SX, but I'm unsure of the dimensions of the tubes. There are 4 feet on the bottom of the case that raise it just slightly off the ground approximately half an inch or so (guessing). I'm not sure if there'd be enough clearance for the tube if I mounted it to the bottom of my case.

My CCFL was just less than an inch in high. I would give it at least an inch and a half clearance so either put some raisers on that sucker. There are a few other ways I've seen people do the "ricer" effect on their cases:

Dremel a slot (I know it'll be painful with that case) on the bottom and stick the CCFL in it.

Drill a lot of holes on the bottom and stick super bright LEDs in it. Usually this will require a LEDbus of some sort or a lot of wire mess.

Or, not as cool looking, use EL wires. They're not as bright but in the dark you can tell.
