CCC question

I need to roll back to a non CCC version of the catalyst drivers since CCC freezes a lot, doubles my startup time and is just in general causing a lot of problems, espicalyl with Azureus and Ultramon. anyone kwno if the 5.12s released by Omega are control panel or CCC? It's either Cats 5.11 or Omega 5.12 for me as of now.

CCC can't be THAT bad. I just got it since I would have to eventually.
As for your question I don't know, I've been using the Omega 5.10's and I know they are Control Panel.

The Omegas use RadLinker, at least the ones I used did.

Why can't u just install the drivers and use ati tray tools? It works for me with 5.13

Just relized that. Much better idea. It has all the settings like AA and AF.

i am using ATT, but to adjust my extend desktop, which ATT dosent reconize as a component video out, and the fact that it still takess around 7-9 minutes to startup(no f'in lie 7 minutes witout azureus and 9 with it), with long pauses in between when my pc freezes, is unacceptable.

what is radlinker? can it adjuet my DVI to Component adapter? I need to run at 1712x948 @30hz 32bit to eleminate overscan.

at this point, i'm ready to stone the ATI driver team to death.

what's the difference between NGO, DHzer0point and OMEGA?

allright just installed NGO 1.5.13 and got it up and running, even with the first startyup diagnostic test, the teme from login window to fully boot was like 2 minutes. awesome. now I just have ot uninstall after some tests and install the ultra versions to figure whih work better on my bios flashed 9800pro 128mb.
