Better than average, is what've heard about it. 2.5~2.7GHz probably. One core might do 2.8GHz comfortably but the other might not. (Usually Core 0 < Core 1)

Assuming that the best out there is CCBWE 0530TPMW is the early one, yes I say it's a good stepping

well I have just tried it and it needs 1.6 vcore to boot into windows and run dual prime it fails on one core after 1min 30 sec

140/150 series

CABNE 0539 and before were great overclockers ~3.0ghz+
CABNE 0540 and after havnt been that great but still not bad ~2.8ghz
CABYE 0539 and before not to bad ~2.8ghz
CABYE 0540 and after great oc'ers ~3.0ghz+
CABGE All weeks not the greatest 2.6-2.7 at high voltage
CAB2E All weeks are hitting about 3.0ghz+

165 CCBWE 0546 MPMW varying results. 2.3 - 2.7GHz
170 CCBWE 0530 TPMW great clockers. 2.9 - 3.1GHz dual core. Less prone to cold bugs
175 CCBWE 0544 XMPW good/great on air up to 2.7 - 2.8GHz. Cold bug @ -10c
180 CCBWE 0541 RMPW good clocker on air. 2.7GHz with 1.45v. Does not scale well with voltage

Dont worry about cold bugs unless you are going phase change cooling.

Now anyone knows if Opteron 170 can be used with MSI Neo 4 Platinium without any kind of trouble?

Hi,

I have a 175 CCBWE 0544 XPMW and was wondering if it is the same as the XMPW. I am going to phase cool it and would like to know what happens with the cold bug. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

175 CCBWE 0544 XMPW good/great on air up to 2.7 - 2.8GHz. Cold bug @ -10c
