I was just clicking random links on youtube when I came across this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...Hmq51w&feature=related

Scroll to the 3 minute mark... what do you notice? I just thought to myself what are the chances.

I then searched here and found no posts in OT however he is a member. Just thought it was interesting. Anandtech is getting some publicity!

What the shit are those speech bubbles? Those are annoying as hell and I've been seeing them pop up on every video. Is there an option to disable them?

With who? Who's honestly going to watch this? I'd probably just read an EEE comparison review, before I go to youtube.com searching for one.

Anandtech is the largest english-speaking tech forum in the world. A more accurate question would be why publicity even matters? It obviously gets the attention it needs from the people who care, including the people who would watch that sort of video.

Indeed. My point was however, do you go to youtube.com to search for hardware/computer related reviews? I know I sure don't.

I did when researching cases, I needed video to see relative size and look.

Hm. I guess a few images on newegg, and the dimensions in numerical form, usually works for me. We're different I guess. I do have a strange urge to hunt and kill you, like Billy Ray Cyrus, now. But I'm resisting that urge with success so far.

Doesn't matter how big or small it is, the fact is the image of the site appeared on a video that has a chance to be seen, and I can confirm it was.

Minor publicity that will probably have 0 effect? Yes. Is it still publicity regardless? Yes.

Leave it to OT to take this too seriously :)
