Sorry, but the last interview I would want to see.

TG lost it's way years ago and became very elitist IMHO.

What? You are a dud!

It's the best show on television...ever...in the history of TV...and I know lots of people who would agree with me.

when they admit it's about fun and games and "three blokes cocking about in cars," why do people expect serious car stuff?

When Jeremy mentioned that TG has to "ignore" the criticism...the light went off...that's why it will never work here...Americans are too concerned with PC, being sued, etc. for them to be critical.

i loved the 60 minute ads, they were like "How did a show about cars, guys, and joking get so popular" or something like that. Really? How did a show about laughing, cars, and dude-stuff manage to attract a large male audience?

I was surprised to hear that 40% of the viewers are women.

I'm not. My ex girlfriends enjoyed watching it with me and so does my wife. Some of the girls I worked with over in the UK were huge fans and one of them sent me a really excited message last year when she finally got tickets to the show.

I wasn't. My wife and her sister both enjoy the show.

Ignoring criticism is definitely part of what makes that show so great and will probably be its downfall in the US.
