CBR600RR versus coyote

I read the 600RR.net forums and a guy posted this a couple of weeks ago...

He was on his bike and hit a coyote. The impact cut the dog in half and messed up his bike pretty badly. He somehow kept the bike upright and went back to take pics.

You know it's gonna be a big mess, so don't click unless you're okay with coyote blood, gore, and bare intestine action.

Holy crap, it CRACKED the fork... Amazing that he stayed on.
 
Yike. Glad that he is ok and didn't crash. What would happendeded if he hit a deer instead of a coyote with that speed?

Hmm, maybe not so well. A big touring bike? He might now even know what he hit. There was a rider that hit a deer a while back and didn't even know what happened until he pulled over and saw half a deer hanging off the back of his bike. I'm searching for the link now.

I'd bet that if he was going any slower and hit it, he wouldn't have sliced it like that and his bike wouldn't have been able to stay upright.

Check youtube, I believe there is a video of a motorcycle (with camera mounted on the front) hitting a deer. Crazy stuff.

I love animals, and the guy should have known a coyote could have been possible; but no sense of ruining his life over this.

Dear PETA, I got up at 4am this morning and went out to check the surf. The water was like glass, so I donned my wetsuit and got the crowbar out of my trunk. I then went down to the beach and began CLUBBING BABY SEALS! I washed their blood and bits of brain off myself in the cold Pacific waters.


If ya'll don't hear from me in the near future, know that it's because PETA took me out.


Edit: Ya'll know that guy didn't hit that coyote on purpose, right? (not like what I did to those poor baby seals this morning) I mean, that was pretty dangerous, he cost himself a lot of trouble and over $6K in damages, and he's very lucky to have no laid the bike down.

I am being serious. If you were to literally film yourself killing seals, you'd have a lot of problems.

This guy I understand did not intentionally harm this animal, however; with the laws being currently geared toward being anti-sportsbike/racing just him hitting this animal + admitting to speeding (and most would think 90MPH is insane)...he is setting himself up for a lot more trouble than a busted up bike.

He may have no issue, but the internet can be a very serious place and it wouldn't be the first time someone got nailed. Look at those dudes down my way making 'gangster' videos and getting their grandma to point a gun at the camera and say 'f the police'.

They came down on them really hard and the only evidence was youtube vids.
