ordered my p3-700e cB0
it ran stable at 933@1.90v - pretty crappy
start my burn-in w/ prime95
it then went to 952@1.85v
next, 966@1.85v
then, 973@1.75
then finally after another 20-30hrs of burn-in, 994@1.80v !!!!!
i'm now 85-90% stable at 1001... maybe another 12hrs will get me that magic G

so is that the problem with the TNT2?

I remember some where that it can't handle AGP of 88.7 (133*0.66).

Anyone able to back this up or will I be able to push my TNT2 with a P3 700 at the 133mhz bus speed?

Thanks

i have a tnt2 card and it goes to 143 fsb.
i got it to 153 fsb (1057mhz) but it wouldn't load windows
after scsi device detection.
as far as quake3 goes, 140fsb is max for 3d.
my configuration is below

chinman75,

What did you do to allow the TNT2 to run at the high FSB?

Did you have to do anything to the vid card? Disable SBA?

Thanks

What's a good heatsink/fan combo to use for my P3 700 cb0 stepping?

I want to get this baby up to the 1G range.

I haven't done this much to my 'puter since the celery o'c days.

So what are the FPO/Batch #s on your P3 700? And what speeds are you able to get? Is everyone hitting the 1G barrier?

I've got a cb0 week 17 from Malaysia. I didn't get my slocket yet, but it should be here on Thursday.

The average listed on http://www.overclockers.com database suggests lower 900's is average. The guys breaking the Gig barrier are using pelts, and that is still only a few. I REALLY want a 700, but I may wait for the next stepping(CCO)to see what they are capable of. And I know my luck, it'll be same as last time, I'll pay $275.00 for the 700, and 2 weeks later it'll drop to 225 or lower, just like my 600 did :)

As HEAVILY dicussed in this forum already...their is NO SUCH THING AS "burn in".

Running at 1.90v is REALLY pushing a cumine.
