Cavs will pick LeBron no? w/ poll

IF they don't pick James that would be stupid. Espicially considering that the Cavs are a short drive away from akron which makes them the home team. Loyal Irish fans will crowd the Cavs stadium to watch this kid play pro.

almost? i can bet my house on that.
Even if he plays like crap, the amount of money this guy is going to generate will be astounding

he already signed a 7 year 90 mil deal w/ nike.

?This is a great day for northeast Ohio and one of the biggest days in Cleveland sports history,? said Cavaliers Senior Vice President and General Manager Jim Paxson. ?It?s no secret that we intend to select LeBron James with the first pick. I think LeBron is a very versatile player. From what I?ve seen from watching him in a lot of different situations is that he has as good a floor vision as any young player that has come into the game in a long time. I think you can put the ball in his hands and ask him to do a lot of things. The biggest thing that jumped out at me is that he?s a very unselfish player.?

surprising thing is that anthony is going to go #3 because the interview with dumars sounded certain they were going to take Darko to replace an aging cliff robinson, and they already have an emerging rookie tayshon prince as their small forward.

i am ALL FOR replacing Cliff Robinson. i would have liked to see Carmello Anthony get picked up, because he seems to be able to score the ball (something we sorely need). OR, i wonder if Dumars can pull a blockbuster deal that will bring a big time player in from a trade. KG, anyone??? 😛

KG isn't a good fit for the pistons (particularly since the bulls will soon own him 😛)

This is so fricken stupid. The Raptors got 4th. How gay! We get nobody good. Maybe we'll strike gold and pick a sleeper.

Did anyone see Jerry West act all cocky thinking he was gonna get the #1 pick? Then he didn't and his #2 fell all the way to #12 or 13. That's gotta hurt! The real winner in all of this is Detroit. They get a #2 pick and are already a great team. I think they won over cleveland. The loser was memphis. A crappy team they will be again!

i'm going to laugh my ass off if it turns out he can't handle the NBA and nike is stuck with a worthless 90$ million dollar endorsement.

hahaha, jerry west. 😀

giving 1001 reasons why it would be good for memphis to get #1, then he drops to #13. 😛
