Caved and got the Bumper Case

I've gotta say, this is the most expensive piece of plastic I've ever paid for. Although the case fits very well and the black on black makes it less showy. Still, there is nothing comparable right now I can get that will be an open back. I did consider getting the iband d30 material case but they don't have it for the iphone 4 yet so its not going to work well if I got the 3Gs case... Just wanted to rant.

I have one of the $1.20 Monoprice anti-shock silicone skins. It's as good as the $20 ones IMO. They're coming out with them for iPhone 4.

Should get it sometime next week. I ordered a very similar looking case for my 3G for a similar price and had absolutely zero issues with it. I'm hoping to have similar luck with this one. I like having the entire phone covered so I can toss it and put it wherever without any worry. Plus the cover helps me quickly cover the screen when I'm playing a game at work and the boss walks by. 😛

I got the bumper case too except I got mine for free. I called up apple and complained about the reception and told them they need to give me a free bumper to make it right. I had to go up the chain a few times but it was worth not having to pay $30 for that expensive piece of rubber.

For the record I can recreate the reception issue but its not half as bad as everyone makes it out to be which is why I am keeping the phone

Hey, also Gelaskins just released their iPhone 4 skins and they say they will protect from the antenna issues as well.. so that's another option.

I love Gelaskins and put them on my Macbook's and my iPhone's so that'll be perfect if it works. Won't know until I can get a phone. Hopefully sometime this week.
