Has anyone else here heard of this? The game, Cave Story, came out a few years ago, so perhaps everyone played it then. However, I have just discovered the game, and I am quite surprised.
The gameplay is undeniably simple; you control the protagonist with only jump and shoot, navigating enemy-ridden platforming areas. However, the characters and story are unique and absorbing, at least to me. Also, the range of weapons has kept me interested. The game starts out a bit slow, but I recommend those who haven't heard of this game to try it.
