causes of allergy issues in house??

The house has new carpet/carpet professionally cleaned, and was completely painted on the inside. I STILL have allergy problems. The house is probably 20yrs old.


Should I get the vents cleaned?

I am highly allergic to mold. Cleaning the vents would be a good idea. Check the basement for mold....

You can also try putting filters at the vent openings...

The carpet will trap everything. I have severe allergies, and have learned. Carpet != good for allergies. My allergist said it would be ideal if my room were tiled, but that isn't going to happen. I have been going for shots, but had to stop because of my surgery, and since then I've been in hell with my allergies.
