Caught my guitar instructor on a gig

There are an incredible amount of talented musicians out there, most of them never get a "break" and probably wouldn't want one if it was offered to them.

I just got some stats BTW- She weighs 390lbs and can out bass anyone you put against her according to the guys at the guitar shop

I just did a 3:40 clip of the lead guitar in isolation. The reason the guitar sounds so dominent is that I am using an on camera mounted mic and I am in front of his Cylinderical Radiator stack.

I can get lessons from Ron Jarzombek, Spastic Ink guitarist, and used to play guitar for thrash metal band Watchtower. There are a few vids on Youtube.

Ron Jarzombek is awesome.

OK, it looks like they're playing in A, and then does the solo with a D pentatonic blues scale. It was decent, but the guitarist has a problem getting those diad bends right on the solo. The bends were a bit flat (didn't quite get them up high enough- not many people would hear that though). Have him study Dwayne Allman for a couple of weeks and he'll get them right

The beginning was played note for note of a classic blues piece (and I'll be damned if I can think of it right now- it'll come to me). Around 3:00, he goes into improv and tell me that sounds forced. I don't think you heard the whole thing.

Michael Angelo may be skilled, but he is the worst musician known to man. And I like shredders. He really is an abomination.

Michael Angelo may be skilled, but he is the worst musician known to man. And I like shredders. He really is an abomination.

No problem He toured with Johnny Cash on his final tour- has a lot of cool stories he tells during lessons.

OK, that is circular... When I was about 14, a friend of ours was the guy who taught Richard Betts how to play lead. He said he would show him something and Richard would come back a week later playing it better than he could. That was more than 30 years ago.

lol Batio's stuff gets repetitive after a while. Another crazy shredder is Chris Impellitteri. BUT, the music he writes is awesome. Guitar instrumental Somewhere over the Rainbow is a great one.
