It actually looked exotic from behind as I came up to it. Snapped a couple of questionable quality photos of the backend but my exit came up just after I up to it.

Good job Chevy.

Imagine this but in yellow:

Did they just put upside-down Camaro lights in it or something? Jesus that looks bad. I give it one year before they switch back to round lights.

I also was disappointed to see them go away from the iconic round taillights.

Of course I was also disappointed in BMW going from round circles to octagons or whatever on their headlights.

I actually like the rear end in that picture much more than the other photos I've seen of it.

I find the round tail lights to be a negative. The C5 and C6 look like an 86 C4.

Here is my potato photo:

Agree about the round tail lights getting old. Ferrari and the GTR have them and I'm glad Chevy broke away. The car is also not rounded as much anymore and the sharp angles match closer IMO.

It doesn't have to be circles for me, but I still think the taillights could use some improvement. The backend just looks like they ran out of time and didn't finish the overall design and were like, eh just go with it.

The back end it just too...Knight Rider-y...it really does look like some kind of overly-futuristic Firebird concept.

I like the looks of the rest of the car. But the back end is all wrong. They could do some not-round tails, but...not that kind of 'not round.'

I like it. But if i can get a z06 at a major discount, i'd probably go with that

do the c7's have a dry sump too?

I dunno. Not feelin this Vette. Looks like it was designed for a Transformers movie, and just that.

yaeh im not sure about yellow on that particular car. i really like yellow on smaller sports cars (i have this crazy goal to buy a yellow boxster or cayman....) but i think on a longer car it just looks odd. i'd probably want it in blue though. can't get a boring color in a sports car like silver/black/white etc

It looks okay, I'd honestly have to see the whole thing in person to really judge it though. As for the tail lights it's refreshing to see the round lights go, but they could've done something besides using smaller camaro lights :/

Maybe I'm just a romantic but I still think the nicest looking vettes are the C2's.
