because it is a dolphin. the aquatic mammals commonly referred to as dolphins are actually more correctly identified as porpoises.

yea, thast whats done to much fish in commercial fishing, deep freeze right on the boat. better then keeping it just refridgerated for all the days before it gets to u. mahi mahi is tasty, but ugly http://www.aruba-mahimahi.com/ 🙂

just call it dolphin fish and theres no confusion
 
I am still on vacation. I will post pics of the loot tomorrow. After this trip we have about 100lbs of Mahi Mahi to bring home. Stick it in the freezer and eat it whenever we desire.
