Cats or Dogs?

Felines or Canines?

Pussies or Wieners? (Hmmm... I don't think this is fair for the hounds)

How about, both make great pets in general and some of each are awesome pets and others of each are awful pets.

yes. Lots of people do it. You really have to train them though.

Voted cats, I prefer them.
We have two cats and two dogs. The cats are your average domestic housecat, one of the dogs is a puny Maltese that's outweighed by either one of the cats, and the other dog is a mix that weighs in at around 120lbs. They all get along pretty well, the younger cat will play with either dog.

I like both, but I prefer cats. Cats will fuck off and entertain themselves; they don't need you. I admire that. Dogs are attention whores.

Cats are self-sufficient as long as you change the litterbox and feed them. Dogs are loud (yes, not all of them..but my roommate has a Corgi and it pisses me off..just won't STFU), have to be let out, young ones chew, they stink when wet...they don't clean themselves...

Cats FTW.

Definitely dogs.

You've never had a cat, have you? Mine follows me around the house and is quite playful.

I love both but I personally have cats. Cats are better if your lifestyle or work has you on the road at all. I can go on vacation for up to a week and leave my cats at home easily - just clean the litter box, fill up the food and water bowls and they're good for a week. Can't do that with a dog, either have to board them somewhere (expensive) or get someone to come and look after them.

In our house we have a 120 pound Great Dane and two mongrel cats. The poor dog is afraid of the cats. It's simultaneously pathetic and hilarious.
