Cats are being fixed on Thursday, problem in the meantime?

Here's the situation, the cats are coming up on 6 months and they're brother and sister. The male is starting to take an interested in the female if you get my drift. My parents have been putting off getting them fixed when I told them we should make an appointment about 2 weeks ago before anything starting "going on." Now that he's trying to do things to her, they finally made an appointment... so I'm wondering, if she's not in heat could it still be a problem? Cause I know this typically isn't the time of year that female cats go into heat, but maybe she is cause they're reaching sexual maturity? It's kind of a problem cause he's constantly after her except when he's sleeping. Should they be in separate rooms when they can't be watched closely until they're fixed, or would it not be a problem unless she's in heat?

To the best of my knowledge, the eggs can't be fertilized until she actually goes into heat. It might not be a bad idea to keep them separated for the time being just in case she does go into heat, though.

A few years ago, When my cat went into her first heat it was mid-december. She was scheduled to be fixed the first week of jan.

I also know someone who had a kitten that was 4 months old and went outside and got impregnated by a stray cat and they never even knew the kitten had gone into heat. Poor kitty was raped 🙁

Should anything have "gone on" the operation on Thursday will take care of that. They're taking most of the works out on Thursday, anyways, so if anything was in there growing it will be gone...

Not trying to be blunt, just saying...

Ok... I'm a little more worried about him hurting her... they play together a lot and he plays rough, and weighs a lot more than her, and we often hear her scream cause he bites her tail really hard or her leg or something. He's had her pinned down on the floor before biting her neck and she was just making little squeeks... but that was a month or two ago, I don't think he knew what to do next, lol.

They will do a "kitty abortion" during the fixing if need be. Might cost you a few more dollars.....
They may need to be seperated during the healing process if it's going to be a problem.
