The Catholic Church has approved an app that simulates confession

The Catholic Church has approved an smart phone app that helps guide worshippers through confession.

Patrick Leinen is the developer, and explains the concept on BBC Radio 5 live.

"Examination of consciences are pretty common in churches," Leinen tells Up All Night presenter Rhod Sharp.

"We're doing the exact same thing, it's just that we're tailoring it a little bit more to you."

What's next?
Hookers and Blow. There's an app for that.

I bet there exists a database where all the confessions end up. And all the pervy priests go to "absolve" sins and masturbate.

Interesting that someone registered this domain name, penancepal.com. :sneaky:

I wonder if you can pre-pay before a night of sin?

Of course, if the site rips you off, you'll be one more victim of The Pirates of Penance.

If Catholics can have a confession app, maybe Jews should have a guilt app. They could call it the iBad.

Sounds like it doesn't simulate confession. You still need to go to the church.
