just noticed these last night.. released 11/25/11

http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/win8-preview.aspx

when installed, showed up as 11.8 in afterburner. they work better for me than the catalyst drivers for win7

KNOWN ISSUES

The following section provides a summary of open issues that may be experienced under the Windows 8 operating system with the AMD Catalyst™ Windows 8 Preview Driver. These include:

The driver installation process may display intermittent error messages.
Screen resolution may randomly change during the installation process.
The screen may black out intermittently during the installation process.
A system crash may be observed while switching the GPU between High Performance and Power Saving modes.
Eyefinity configurations may not be retained on reboot.
System hibernation may not be available with certain hardware configurations.
Blu-Ray playback may not function with PowerDVD 10.
3D output may not be available when using PowerDVD 10.
Note! This Driver is provided “AS IS” in accordance with the End User License Agreement.

i tried these drivers and i lost all the graphics options in ccc (monitor,overdrive,gaming options).so far for me the win7 11.11a work the best for win8 64

i'm not using the options in ccc... i'm ocing with afterburner.. overdrive was initialized in the 11.10 that i had installed prior to these

i'll take some screen shots but i dont have any options for the video cards.i tried a leaked win7 driver that did the same thing

Woah may the force be with you, to the OP guy who is using Windows 8 Preview and ATI Drivers...Have you tried playing any games ? What purpose you use PC for besides gaming ? gl

How soon will Windows 8 be shipping?

And would it be wise to get Windows 8 considering all the compatibility issues that occur with new Operating Systems?

Maybe it would be wise to stick with Windows 7 for a year or 2 after Windows 8 comes out right?
