Catalyst Drivers and Vulpine GLMark Problem

I was wondering if anyone had any success getting the Vulpine GLMark benchmark to run with a Radeon and the latest Catalyst Drivers. I'm running Win 98SE. I previously was able to run this benchmark on my system, but after installing a Radeon 8500 LE's Catalyst drivers, I get an invalid page fault error with MVSCRT.DLL whenever I try to start this benchmark, now.

MS Knowledge base mentions something about getting this error message and suggests a utility that will update MSVCRT.DLL. I looked into this, but it doesn't help. Probably because the version of MSVCRT.DLL that I already have installed is newer than the one included with this "fix".

Thanks for any help.
