rainz at B3D saw Far Cry jump from 26 to 38fps at 12x10 going from 4.5 to 4.6, a rather spectacular gain (and not noted in the release notes).

Well, I'm happy because the Cat 4.6's actually work on my system (radeon 9600 non-pro). For some very odd reason Cat 3.10 through 4.5 would lock up my system and cause it to reboot (even after following every guide out there to clean things up, change all sorts of settings, etc) but this driver set works perfectly fine, and everything looks good too. i was using cat 3.9 and would get all sorts of texture tearing and other annoying artifacts, but games were generally playable. now everything works.

I recently bought another stick of 512mb of ram. I don't know how much that helped in FPS at Far Cry(certainly helped though), but from 4.3-> 4.6 I went from 37fps to 46.(benchemall 10x7 max settings default demo)
