No more blur-o-vision with SSAA, at least with source engine. HL2 + Cinematic mod 10 + 8xSSAA = awesome.

BFG10K should do a quick test to see if aniso quality issues have been fixed.

My fiancee picked up the 9.11's today, as she just got done installing her hardware and games on her new i5 rig. I'm currently running the 9.10s.

We were playing Borderlands earlier and in the Rust Commons East area down by a water plant, a few of her textures were missing and she could see through the map. I wasn't noticing these issues.

We're both on Windows 7 x64, but she has an HD3850 while I have an HD4850.

I am running Vista Home Premium with a 4870 and I am having Boarderlands problems as well. Some building textures turn a solid olive grey color.

I would not recommend upgrading if you are playing Boarderlands. There are problems.

To solve the building texture problem with Borderlands, rename the .exe file to ut3.exe. This worked for me. However, from what I read, this won't work if you purchased your game through Steam.

To solve the texture problem with Borderlands all you have to do is disable catalyst A.I. before you run the game.

No performance improvements to 57xx, but significant ones (I assume) for the 58xx series? Is this confirmed?

I'm assuming BFG10K will be here shortly, perhaps after running tests of his own.

Every preview and article I saw linked in this forum over the last couple days that showed massive 58xx performance improvement were using 9.12 betas, not 9.11.

That's very nice, though your old score seems on a low side. Do you see gains in any other game?

P.S. What is it that you're smoking in your Avatar?
