These fixed the minor stuttering I was getting in CS:S and the BF2 shadows are a bit better now as well. Performance is up a bit in games and benchmarks. Can't wait till the final drivers are released.

Cool- what were some of the gains? Are they mostly on the new x1900 series?(the gains).

gains are very strong for both x1800 and x1900, havent seen any other results.

I am going to install now.

Well I only have an X1900 XTX to test wtih so yeah that's what the gains were observed with. Games like CS:S showed fps improvement as well as getting rid of the stuttering problems I had with the modded 5.13 drivers. BF2 seems to run a few frames faster and doesn't have the shadow problems as bad as the 5.13 did. 3dmark05 showed a 300 point gain.

Awesome news for X1900XTX owners, I can't wait to see the X1900XTX's performance in Oblivion, especially since its such a shader intensive game and if there is one thing the X19XTX is good at, its shader proccesing.
