Hello Everyone,
We have a 3600 router and Catalyst 5500 in our mdf.
Right now the T1 from the router goes to the last Ethernet port on the Catalyst 5500.
We (The "A" building) are connecting to the same Catalyst 5500, which has plenty of ports. We get around 120 - 130 kb/s to the outside.
But our problem is that, the other building "L" is connected to fiber port on Catalyst 5500 (it has 10 I believe) and is receiving only 35-45 kb/s.
This is a big problem for us as the "L" building is the library and they use library catalogs where the database is located in the district.
I would like to give more Internet bandwidth to the library. I rather have 120 kb/s in the library and 40 kb/s in our building.
Please Help. Thank You.
