Wait it just froze on me..

Am I supposed to enter this like they tell me to in the Start -> Run?

cscript %SystemDrive%\inetpub\AdminScripts\adsutil.vbs set w3svc/AppPools/Enable32bitAppOnWin64 1

Or do I leave it default?

EDIT: Solved.

For those of you running Windows XP X64, make sure:

cscript %SystemDrive%\inetpub\AdminScripts\adsutil.vbs set w3svc/AppPools/Enable32bitAppOnWin64 0

Problem fixed. CCC is awsome. :D

I'm having the same issues with Catalyst 5.13 CCC where it just brings up the black splash screen and freezes--and I'm on Win XP 32-bit (and a clean install at that!). I went straight to .NET 2.0 via Windows Update.... How do I get .NET 1.1 on my system now? Do I need to uninstall .NET 2.0 first, or can I simply install 1.1 via Windows Update having already installed 2.0?

For now, I've remedied the problem by not loading the CCC at startup, but I'd like to be able to access it.

Thanks,
Dan

Answered my own question: I just went back to Windows Update, installed .NET Framework 1.1 (without uninstalling 2.0), then manually started the CCC runtime and now I get past the CCC splash screen and into the app. :)

One thing that's odd though--and this has been true even before I installed .NET 1.1: I always get THREE CLI processes whenever I start the catalyst runtime (along with two ati2evxx.exe processes). I have an ATI Radeon 9700 PRO with two outs... so I can maybe understand having two, but why three CLI's ?
