Catalyst 4.3 on Radeon 9800 Pro

doesnt seem to run very smooth, i hear 4.2 was better... 4.3 is choppy on BF: Vietnam as well.


where can i download 4.2, i cant find it anywhere, and i just got my 9800 pro so i cant rollback

BF:V runs poorly on any ati hardware atm, not just cat 4.3 (I actually think the 4.3 is the best cat release since 3.10, at least for the games I play). given that for some time BF:1942 had issues w/ all cards for some time, I would say it's the game, not the card.

IMHO, Cat 4.3 are the best all around drivers.

Yes, 4.3 are the best by far for me too.

I always use Driver Cleaner before I install the latest official ATI driver,4.3s are working fine for me as well.

Just follow the instructions in the readme file once you`ve downloaded it,but yes just select "ATI",remember to run it in safe mode and uninstall the old ATI drivers first.
