Today, i tested out 3dmark 03 with stock xp2500... and 3.8 catalyst. Test finsihed it was a little over 2000... unacceptable... i thought maybe cause my processor was at 1.8 instead of my usaual 2.2. Tested again, only a few hundred more marks.... so i knew it was my drivers... i installed the drivers that came with my cd, got a couple hundred more after that.... wasnt able to break 3k tho. So i installed 3.7, and i got 5073. Are drivers gonna make 3000 mark difference on 3dmark? I mean, thats pretty absurd.... why did this happen? Was my card not configed to the new drivers correctly?

PS i scored 16250 on 3dmark01

You must uninstall your drivers and reinstall them, use the program drive cleaner to wipe out any traces before you reboot.
Reinstall the 3.8's and you will be good to go.
I have done this with my 9800 pro and the same thing happens when I forgot to uninstall first.
ATi dosen't like to install over the top or if you have traces of other drivers on your system.
