I dropped the driver folder into my Windows 8.1 folder, does this match what you guys get with 7/8?

If it's not mentioned in the change log, it "should" function the same as the older release. I say should because there are times when a fix for one game hurts another game. That's why you see people on forums like Guru3D asking "how do this work with game x?" and "These crash when playing game Y. Rolling back."

I'm kind of surprised at the last line "disable frame pacing to resolve". Frame pacing needs to be priority #1 for them moving forward as Multi-GPU is the single area that they just cannot touch Nvidia unless it works.

How new is the new DLC in Bioshock? Might just be that the drivers and DLC content crossed paths. Don't have the game so don't know if it's the case or not.

I haven't played the DLC. I wonder though if some game code is updated with the DLC too. It does not mention the standard game as being a problem though.

Windows 8, by default, blocks the installation of some unsigned drivers. If you're a Windows 8 user, you may encounter this problem when installing 13.8 Beta 2.

This happened to me just a few minutes ago. Everything else appeared to install properly; but when I opened up CCC, I realized there were some features missing, notably Overdrive. If you need to use this feature, you'll need to enable Windows 8 to temporarily allow for unsigned drivers.

To do this,

1. Move your mouse cursor to the upper right part on the screen
then select settings -> Change PC settings-> General –> Under “Advanced Startup”, Restart now.

After entering into Advanced Startup:

1. Choose "Troubleshoot"

2. Choose "Advanced Options"

3. Choose "Windows Startup Settings"

Now the computer will restart and the boot menu appears. Choose “Disable Driver signature Enforcement” from the menu. Now windows will start and you can do the installation of the driver that is not signed.

That doesn't look quite right. Here's mine:

This was a clean install with Driver Fusion and CCleaner.

Edit: Your audio version does seem to be newer than mine. Not sure what's up with that.

Anyone else have poor performance in CS:GO with the new drivers? Game is buttery smooth with 13.4, but now I'm getting a bunch of stuttering, mainly while shooting. Makes the game almost unplayable.

Still figure out why my setup gets the 99% load on Slave GPU when using CFX.

I've basically reverted back to 13.6 Beta 2, not getting awful temps/loads on Slave card and frankly all my games (since I use v-sync) look the same.

Have you disabled ULPS?

Have you ensured that OverDrive is disabled?

These things may potentially solve the problem. Then again, maybe not, especially given how the GPU spike issue is specifically listed in the release notes as a known issue

Have you disabled ULPS?

Not a solution as that disables ZeroCool, a feature I specifically care to use from my AMD Radeon cards.

Have you ensured that OverDrive is disabled?

Should I post a screen shot of the little box unchecked? I mean, this is the third time you've asked me and the third time I've answered.

I'm not even really "AS" concerned with the GPU getting pegged at 99% percent. I used the system doing this for a while.

I was more concerned with why does GPU-Z peg my second card to 99% when the card is basically doing nothing. I was watching my temps climb into the 60C and the fan ramp up into the 50s just from looking at a GPU-Z screen. That doesn't seem right.

The recent WoW issue was the proverbial straw for me and 13.8 Beta2. Back on 13.6 Beta2 and everything is fine and dandy. Oddly enough, my gaming experience seems about the same to me, WoW still a stuttering mess, but at least it's working 🙂

EDIT: And I just realized it's called ZeroCore, not ZeroCool. Haha, d'oh!
