Does this support the 7790? I think I'll test on my bitcoin miner and see, I've had trouble finding a driver that works with a mix of 7790 and other 7 series cards.

"AMD Catalyst Control Center now shows the hardware and software Information pages for AMD discrete GPUs when paired with Intel integrated graphics"

does that mean we'll see a huge increase in amd dgpus in the next steam hardware survey ?

June is the word on the street.
I am assuming it will be to counter the 7xx line when they are all out.

13.4 and 13.5 beta both support the 7790, although I never tried it alongside another 7-series card. I did have a very bad time trying to get the 7790 to work with a 5870 though.

It does work, at least for bitcoin mining. Have a 7970 ghz edition and a plain 7790 working together in the same box, happily mining bitcoin, with this 13.6 driver.

I want to post my 2 cents here, the HDMI audio issues have not been resolved yet. I did a clean install and installed these new drivers, and yet their is still stutters. The only way to fix it is via registry...

I did have a strange HDMI sound experience as well. Every 3 seconds or so, the sound would skip for half a second and then resume. Is that the stutter you mention?

Can you point me to this registry fix?

Thanks.

Yea sorry, it skips every so many seconds.
Fix:

Code:
open regedit and find
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Video\{XXXX...}\0000
( 'XXXX' means device number. There are several device number folder and u should find 'AdapterDesc' in 0000 folder which key value is 'amd radeon HD 7XXX Series'. )

At that '0000' folder, Change 'PP_SclkDeepSleepDisable REG_DWORD' value 0 to 1.
and reboot~!~!~!

These broke 3x1 Eyefinity + 1 extended HDMI audio for me, right after it was fixed in the previous beta. Need to reinitialize the Eyefinity array every time I turn the monitors on :( :( :(

That's great mate. Thank you very much.

I did find that key on a different location, than the one described though.

The good thing is that luckily I didn't have to fiddle with that. The new driver seems to have fixed the HDMI stuttering. I watched some Youtube, a few vids with KMplayer and played a couple of hours of Van Helsing and the HDMI Audio was crisp, clear and uninterrupted.

That's one sorry ass counter.

To me it wouldn't that bad of a counter, If CF worked right and CF fps=single card fps I would have bought 3x7950s instead of the Titan and still spend less of what I spent. 7990 would be indisputably the best card on the market, it now delivers the most fps but we all know the sorry state of CF.

13.6's provided a considerable increase in bitcoin mining speed for me. Something like 260 -> 288Mhash/s - close to a 10% improvement.

Interesting. I'm on 13.3 right now and it's been good. I might have to try 13.6.

EDIT: So I have 13.6 in now. Not seeing a lot of gains here, but I switch clock speeds a lot and don't keep accurate records. Maybe it's about 1% faster. One thing I do notice is artifacting that used to occur in my browser at higher clockspeeds is gone. Also it seems to run hotter now? Strange.

After installing bitcoin mining on my 6970 stopped. I started getting "hardware errors" in GUI minor, same with the last official driver update.
