Drivers for the 2xx series (which should also affect 7xxx series) have been posted (and I didn't see a thread here).

No list of actual changes, but some folks are saying they are seeing marked improvements in early benching.

I plan to check 'em out when I get home.

Apparently all they did with this version was adding support for the new R6/7/8 cards.

Well, people have been claiming that they "see" performance and image quality improvements in all new drivers for the last 15+ years. Those forums for leaked drivers are particularly absurd reading every time there is a leak. I'll wait for verified numbers.

Well, I was going by a gent's bench scores going up by a healthy percentage when I mentioned it. But I know benchmark scores are also dubious.

These installed right over my 13.10v2 (I always exclude the audio now and that seems to have made the process go a lot smoother). Then patched them with ToastyX's tool and back to normal across the board.
