- Mass Effect 3: Improves CrossFire performance
- Path of Exile – Improves CrossFire performance
- Darkness 2 – Resolves flickering issues on single GPU configurations when Anti-Aliasing is forced on in the Catalyst Control Center
- Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning – Resolves character texture corruption seen using single GPU configurations when Anti-Aliasing is forced on in the Catalyst Control Center
- Wargame: European Escalation(DirectX 9 version): Improves CrossFire performance
- Wargame: European Escalation(DirectX 11 version): Resolves flickering observed when running in CrossFire mode
- Mount Blade: Disables CrossFire to avoid corruption as the title has a capped Frame Rate
- L.A. Noire (DirectX 11 Version): Improves CrossFire performance, and resolves flickering seen in shadows

Windows 7 and Windows Vista support for the AMD Radeon HD 7900 and HD 7770 Series

  • Enables support for Windows 7 64-bit/32-bit and Windows Vista 64-bit/32-bit

AMD Eyefinity 2.1 technology enhancements

  • Custom resolutions – users can now choose from a much larger set of display resolutions for their AMD Eyefinity configurations
  • Dynamic Configuration Changes: Switching between different display configurations (when physically plugging/un-plugging displays) will occur automatically by loading the appropriate profile

Oh cool. Interested to see how SSAA looks and performs. I have not been using the betas as I didn't feel like crashing :)

Doesn't mention any performance differences for the 79x0 series cards though.

Anyone know if this fixes AB and Trixx? I doubt it does since the 12.2 pre-cert webpage mentioned they were the release version, just without Microsoft certification. Still rocking the RC11's from January 25th.

Besides SSAA,looks like mostly a crossfire performance driver that people like me on rc11 shouldn't even bother installing.

Looks promising for the crossfire guys.

Question for the die hard amd users,7970 is the first high end amd gpu i got,2 months in a new series what could new drivers from amd deliver if anything performance wise?I hate usually switching them unless i got bugs, which i got none on rc11 but should i forget new drivers can offer performance updates after 12.2 and just worry about application support and bugs now?

I take it performance drivers are waiting for Kepler or GCN is a b**** to code for:confused:

Anyone try eyefinity with mismatched monitors (e.g., 1600x1200 + 1920x1200 + 1600x1200)?

Wouldn't that be something if amd is gimping their 7970 and 7950 cards on purpose so when Kepler shows up,all of a sudden a new driver comes out with like 30% more performance across the board.

I highly doubt such a thing will happen, but would be funny.

Has ati/amd done this before in the pass?Sounds too extreme to be true.

Anyone know what AML Device Install is yet?
It pops up upon reboot after installing these and is listed/checked under startup items.

+1,i would love to push my card pass 1100/1575 but at 1150,my card goes all funkytown in BF3 so back down to 1100.

Is memory really going that high there on just ccc.exe? If so that's excellent.

You want to install these. They are a hell of a lot better than RC11s in terms of speed and stability.

I decided last night to install these and afterburner 2.2 beta, and i can also confirm they work hand in hand,in my experience though,if you open up ab first before ccc,it would revert all settings and my oc to stock of 1010/1375....

After about 5 reboots i figured out lol that i had to open up ccc first, then afterburner as with rc11 and ab 2.1 that wasn't the case then after testing a oc of 1125/1575 with ab showing a 1.112 core voltage,i ran some games and pulled p8438 in 3dmark 11.

I can say they are better then rc11,for the fact i can hit 1125 as where with rc11 i would get these funky triangle type artifacts, like i had a serious malfunctioning gpu, trust me when i saw those i had a good scare.

Attempted to install these 3 times for my single HD5870 w/ eyefinity and nothing but blue screens. Wiped previous drivers each time and no dice, crashes every time...

good job AMD, reverting to preview drivers -_-

Terrible microstutter with my 6850's, going back to 11.11.

Edit: Operator error, working well in BF3
