Catalina Mountains Panoramic

This afternoon, the sun came out after a day and half of a fast moving winter storm (now headed East) that dusted the front of our Catalina Mountains with snow. I went to the top of our hill for this 4-shot panoramic with circular polarizer. No EXIF data on a pan, but I do have it from one of the frames.

I like it! Very beautiful view. The only thing I don't like in the picture is the guard rail & two tic-tac-toe things in the foreground.

You know - I really don't know exactly, but they are reflectorized. There is a road coming into the one I was standing on a "T". I think those are warning reflectors telling folks there ain't no mo' road in that direction.

Dr Pizza, I agree - I could easily crop that out - but to tell you the truth, I didn't even see it. I was looking at the mountains. 🙂

I am thinking about moving there. I love Tucson.

I used to do that a lot
I still do but not as often
I have to pay attention that the whole frame is the picture not just what im looking at

Great shot btw 😉

Nice shot.

I agree that you should crop or do some editing. Bad stitch stands out to me where the right third meets the left 2 thirds. Noticable because of the roads edge.

Noticable along the roads.

I didn't notice that until you mentioned it, but you're right. It's particularly visible if you look at the full-sized version of the panorama.

Crop enough off of the bottom to get rid of the tic-tac-toe games and it will have the added benefit of removing the stitching problems on the guard rail and the edge of the road. 🙂
