Cataclysm Performance on Crossfire not an okay. Sad Panda.

Dipping into 20-30 quite frequently on Ultra settings at 1920*1200. Indoors its 60fps+. I'm mainly in the newly created Werewolf beginning instance. I don't have Vsync or any AA on either. Considering I just dropped 90$ +15$, kinda sad AND i just upgrade to these 5770's this summer (August)

I guess Wow just flat out doesn't scale with Crossfire.

i5-750 @3.5Ghz
8GB 1600 DDR3
2 x ATI 5770 in Crossfire
Corsair 850
Asus P7P55D Deluxe

If you quit WoW it'll add +10 to man region.

WoW doesn't scale with sli/crossfire and the dual gpu gtx 295/ 5970 actually ran worse than the single card equivalent in Tom's cataclsym benchmarks. Also make sure you enabled directx 11.

So effectively its like I'm trying to run Wow on Ultra with something less that a 5770, no wonder it runs like crap. Far cry from other games like Battlefield that scale 100%. Next time I'm upgrading to a single GPU solution, too many Crossfire hoops, unfortunately.

What settings should I run then? Upgrade?

EDIT:

For anyone wondering. It was an overheating problem on one of my GPU's. New thermal paste and Cataclysm Ultra is locked to 60fps vsync.
