Cat with a Collar . . .

CaptnKirk

Lifer
at the Pottery Studio where my wife & her freinds do their thing.

Anyway, the kitten had a collar & it looked to be getting rather tight
on it's neck, so they decided to feed it until it became freindly enough
that they could remove the collar so it wouldn't choke it as it grew.

Last night they finally succeded in getting the kitten to let them
pet it & take it inside the studio to evaluate the collar situation.

On the collar was a phone number, so they called and told the party
that they had found a cat with a collar that had this phone number on it.
The reply was "We lost that cat 10 weeks ago, and have been looking
everywhere for our 'BeBe Boots' kitty, we'll come and get it !"

The cat disapeared from a house about 5 miles away from where it was found,
and had followed a river from the downtown cultural area of Fort Worth to the
South West section of the town where it encountered people (wife & friends)
who took interest in helping the lost, and presumably abandoned, animal.

So now everyone is happy - Wife, friends, pet owners, and a young and growning kitten.

Sometimes stories have happy endings.

Boy 10 weeks! They'd probably given up on the cat a long time ago. Lucky it had a collar on it.

Nothing quite like a happy pet reunion story. 🙂
