Mine know not to mess with me, but they will go and bite my wife's nose, ears, and fingers until she gets up. They will also lay in her lap and grab her hand has she is trying to eat and pull the fork to their mouths.

Further evidence that I have the perfect cat. He doesn't wake me up. He just curls up into a little ball at the foot of my bed. If I don't get up, he'll lay there all day.

I thought it was going to sit on his face, I had a cat that would do that if you didn't wake up fast enough. You'd get a mouthful of cat hair and who knows what else
