Cat question

My cat is about to get spayed in a few days, I just wanted to know if it was ok to give her food after she was spayed?

The asked the doctor and he said no but the people I got my cat from said it was ok.

Personally... I'd go with what the Dr says.

Our cat was spayed when we got her, so I really can't be of much help other than that.

No, once you get your cat spayed you are not allowed to feed her ever again.

I meant as in feed her after the operation for like 24 hours

Ask the vet and heed his advise.

I would side with the vet vs the animal sales people.

I am assuming at sometime after the spay the vet did say your pet can eat again.

I have only heard no feeding before surgery, 12 hours. Pets handle spay nuerter pretty good, my yorkie was humping latter that day
