It really is, isn't it? As I said, best LCD I've ever owned.Never mind, the cable I used for my sceptre (that didn't have a power adapter) worked!! This thing is INCREDIBLE!!!! Now how do I go about calibrating this bad boy???

If you bought a monitor with a 220V power brick, I'll recommend you either, buy a 110>220 transformer (cheap on Amazon) or get a proper 110V brick. It seems a fair amount of buyers doing what you have done are having their power bricks fail with a couple months use.
Just think, for a given output power, the input current at 110V is twice that at 220V. Extra heat, shorter life.
With regards to calibration, and not having a calibrator, I tried several ones posted online but all looked worse than the stock settings using this site for comparison http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/.
