Cat in the Hat movie

Home today, Cat in the Hat just came on HBO. What a load of crap. Mike Myers is awful. At what point did they think this was OK to release to the theaters?

I always wonder about bad movies.

When they screen it, they must be in total denial. They should have just cut and run.

Boy, is this bad.

The woman rented this one weekend. About 15 minutes into it the DVD stopped playing. The 15 minutes that I did see was probably the worst crap I have seen from a movie.

Once the money has been spent there is no choice but to release and hope that rental/sales will make up for the box office shortfall.

Though, I do see plenty of films that baffle me as to how they got the green light in the first place.

Yeah, it was crap, but I think it was aimed at five year olds, not adults.
If it was aimed at 5yr olds it wouldn't be rated PG.

I can't see anyone finding this funny, not even a 5yr old.
