Cat gives cardiac massage to passing friend

That's so sad 🙁

I don't know if it was trying CPR (doubtful), but the fact that it was trying that hard to wake up it's friend is touching. Poor kitty 🙁

very sad. But it's very interesting. Usually only chimpanzees really detect if their young are dying.

Damn idiot driver... he missed one.

lol, I felt sad when I saw the video, but your post brought me back to ATOT mentality. :awe:

I remember running over a pidgeon once, and another pidgeon went crazy trying to resurrect the bird...man I felt bad all day after that.

Isn't that the same thing cats will do to your couch when you're not looking?

It's a show of affection. It's a regression from kittenhood when they'd knead their mothers teats for milk. I don't think they do it when they're alone, only when they have company they enjoy.

Yeah, that's about right. My cat kneads whoever is holding her. Hurts like hell, but she thoroughly enjoys the affection. I usually toss a blanket over me so she doesn't dig my skin.

Wow, I saw about ten seconds of that and I couldn't watch anymore. Excuse me, but I have to go snorgle with my cat.
