If there is already a conduit and you can easily pull something through, you could use DSL-based Ethernet Extenders: http://www.startech.com/Networking-...ps-VDSL2-Ethernet-LAN-Extender-Kit~110VDSLEXT They work great and I've used them before for much this same need. They'll run over standard twisted pair, so CAT3/existing 25-pair will work fine.
