Not for 2-6 players unless you're in a squad together....but I still think one of the most fun games I've ever played was Battlefield 2 with the reality mod on top of it. BF2 was probably one of the best first person shooters for 5 years when it came out, but it was plagued with cheats(not as bad as counterstrike) and 13 year olds that camped spawn points.
The reality mod fixed all the problems with the game. Maps were like 4 times the size of a normal map. They made a pilot kit only contain a parachute and a knife...maybe a sidearm. Their job was to fly... You could get supply drops from aircraft
You could only spawn at the base if there were no forward bases, which sucked because you then had to spend another 5+ minutes driving across the map to where the fighting was. Forward bases could be setup by a squad leader, but it took squad members to dig and construct the base.
I played a game once where we successfully found a valley that was close enough to the enemy, but away from the flags we were trying to capture. We setup a forward outpost there and half of the team start spawning there. The enemy never found us and we had guys on the road taking down tanks before the enemy could stop us from taking the last few flags. It really felt like a strategy game because of the slow pace and the way you're forced to work together... It was so fun.
