Castle Crashers - when I die it gives me a blinking [Y] button, but Y doesn't work?

OK, totally misc here: When I'm playing Castle Crashers multiplayer and one of us dies, it puts a blinking [Y] key over the dead body. But [Y] doesn't do anything apparently? What's that mean/what's it for? Can I come back to life?

Go down to "Multi-players HP"

you hit y in the middle on the thing when it gets on the heart. the better you hit/match the dead person will come back to life with more life... and wrong forum.

A living player has to stand over the dying player and press Y to start the little minigame to revive him by tapping Y at the right time as Joph said.

To reiterate the above, it's not for the near-dead player to press, but for another living player to press (repeatedly) while standing over the body. Doing so will revive the downed player and give them a tiny bit of health.
