"Castle" anyone watch it?

Nathan Filion and Stana Katic.
It has a good give and take between Filion and Katic, even if it is a ripoff of Bones.
Filion really is a fine actor. Katic is also a good actor but they need to give her a bit more personality.
All in all, its on my dvr list.

Yeah, I enjoy the banter between the two, yet find the plots simplistic.

Good cast chemistry for such a new show. I'll watch for a while because I like Fillion, and due to the chemistry, as it gives the show long-term potential. If the plotting doesn't start to improve by end of season 1, I'll probably give up, but for the time being, its good for filling up time/watching in background.

i like it. Filion is great as Castle. He just pulls off that look and attitude well.

it seems like they modeled the female cop after that female cop on Law & Order (can't remember her name now). Same exact look almost.

i asked my friends yesterday if they were watching...we're all fans of Nathan Fillion, but nobody actually cares about the show. I might download a few episodes, who knows.

I watched this initially because of Fillion's job on Firefly. That said, his characters are similar enough that I doubt he can really act. The chemistry on this show is excellent however and it's a great show to watch with my wife. I've enjoyed all three episodes and Stana Katic is hot!

Not only is she hot, she's smart. She speaks several languages.
It's a shame there isn't more buzz about the show, because its really quite good.
btw last nights red dress was an unexpected treat.

LOL Fillion really is the same character in everything. He's still great, though.

The show definitely is a ripoff of Bones but there's no pussyfooting around these two like Bones and Booth.

Also I don't know if you can compare L&O:SVU's Olivia Benson to Stana Katic's character - the two shows aren't really on the same level.
Mariska Hargitay's character was the child of her mother's rape and goes through some traumatic shit on that show - like almost being raped by a prison guard who was later caught because she was able to verify the mole on his penis :Q.

Castle doesn't seem like the show that would get into that kind of stuff - so far it's pretty much your standard plots.
The show's really about the two main characters - not so much about the complexity of the cases.

Finally, there's also no technical mumbo jumbo which is refreshing (reason why I stopped watching all CSI shows).

Reminds me of that old Bruce Willis detective show many years ago, Moonlighting. I wish Hollywood would come up with some new ideas. Not a bad show, but not original of course.
