I recently purchased one of those cassette adapters to use with my new mp3 cd player. I tried it out and it seemed to work well enough, except for the fact that when I was done and went to eject it wouldn't come out.
It's a relatively new player, so my guess is that it has some 'smart' protection against eating tapes, but causes it to choke on the adapters. The 'eject' button is actually digital, rather than the mechanical eject buttons of traditional players. When I push it, it kind of moves the adapter up, then sucks it back down (it makes a sound similar to that you'd hear when it switches sides).
Short of taking the deck out and opening it up, anyone have any ideas for getting it out?
