Casio Exilim EX-Z750

Looks pretty hot to me. Think I might pick one up.... it's all about the battery life though. My previous camera (CoolPix 3200) would get about ~45shots with the flash and screen on. I'd like something in the region of 80 with the flash & screen on. Luckily the battery for these things is small anyhow (I hated the pocket full of AA's I had to carry with me) so having two on my person wouldn't be too bad.

Anyhoo... who's had one of these and what do you think?

I've been debating between the 750 and the Exilim S500

The S500 is 2/3 as thin and adds anti-shake DSP, but is only 5MP. It should be released any time now (a few are up on ebay already ~$400)

I found a good forum for the 750 somewhere... the only complain I read was with the movie mode's sound. The Mic is very sensitive to wind and some people complained of high pitched buzzing noise.

I don't know about this exact model, but my brother and brother in law have the older 5 megapixel and 2 megapixel models respectively. They can generally fill a 512MB card in a day without worrying about battery life.

I have the even cheaper Exilim, 3.2 megapix with the optical zoom and i absolutely love it. The size is awesome, and for such a small cam with low pixels, it takes great pictures. Perfect for bar, resturant, etc where you just need to have it in your pocket or girlfriends purse. I carry it around in an oakley bag!

You should buy rechargable batteries my Minolta Z1 and my Coolpix 3700 lasts for 200+ pics.

I use them, got some 2300mAh jobbies... but still they don't last as I'd like them to

Are you using cheap rechargable batteries? I use 1700 mah powerex and they last forever.
