Its their own darn fault for not testing the software ahead of time. You would think they would know better by now.

When a slot machine jams and gamblers lose money, they don't get it back, she said.

"It doesn't work in the reverse," Ford said. "They need to forget it and move on."

So very true.... bunch of f-ing cry babies. People should sue for the $1 every time a machine james. Its about the same relative amount of money to the gambler as 500k is to ceasars

They shouldn't get it back. I would have taken my entire savings and pumped it into the machines, cashed out, and done it again.

Millions.

The criminal intent part IS legit. Its basically like finding an error on an ATM machine and cashing out as much as you can from the banks money.

thugs. 500k$ is nothing to the casino, they should just suck it up and not install faulty equipment. Criminal charges on the patrons? Complete bull.

I don't know about defrauding organized crime. Does not seem to be the best get rich quick scheme. You could always try a Ponzi Scheme.

Criminal charges? That's ridiculous. it's their own fault for not testing. Like the person interviewed said, if the machine jams the casino doesn't reimburse anyone anything, so they shouldn't just have it both ways.

$20k apiece to 2 dozen people? That goes a little beyond taking advantage of the situation.

I'm really having a hard time mustering up much sympathy for a casino that half assed the installation of its slot machines. I mean, isn't that about the only thing they need to get right with the slot machines and they couldn't even do that?

You know, if you find a chip on the ground in a casio and dont turn it in it is considered theft from the casio? Sounds like is the usual way they play. The casinos OWN nevada.

my thoughts:
1.) ELIZABETH, Ind. is 1853 miles from Las Vegas.
2.) If I put my 20.00 in and it credited me 200.00 i'd start getting really nervous and afraid i'd get back-roomed.
3.) They should've tested the machine. I'm sure the slot manager got canned over this.

If the machine were malfunctioning the other way, i.e., never paid out, do you think the casino is going to go find the players and give them $$? No. They need to suck it up and move on. Typical, though.

EDIT: Should have read the article first since the last part says basically the same thing I said. :)

OH!

I didn't realize it was MY caesars.

I wonder what gaming commission governs them?
